Questions about implementing AI across your organization
Answers about AI advisory, platform and policy decisions, team training, implementation, and custom tools and agents. The page also covers HIA's live seminars for individual professionals.
Getting started
What does Hybrid Intelligence Academy do?
HIA helps organizations implement AI across teams and recurring workflows. Our services include AI advisory, team training, implementation support, and custom tools and agents. HIA also offers live public seminars for individual professionals.
Who is HIA for?
HIA works with organizations that want AI to improve the work their teams already own. Typical clients include small and midsize businesses, nonprofits, public agencies, and professional services firms.
Individual professionals also attend HIA seminars to improve writing, prompting, analysis, research, and strategic work.
Is HIA training suitable for someone new to AI?
Yes. HIA explains the relevant technology in plain English, then moves quickly into professional work. New users can follow the material, and experienced users gain a more reliable method for directing, reviewing, and revising AI output.
Will AI make my work sound generic?
Generic output usually comes from vague direction, missing context, and automatic acceptance of the first draft. HIA teaches people to define the point, reader, source material, and standard before drafting, then diagnose weak output before revising it.
AI advisory and implementation
What are HIA's AI advisory services?
HIA's AI advisory services help organizations choose platforms, identify useful workflows, set practical rules, and plan implementation.
- Current-state assessment: tools in use, employee usage patterns, recurring work, leadership needs, information risks, and policy gaps.
- Platform selection and migration planning: workflow fit, privacy, access, administration, connected tools, agent capabilities, setup requirements, and a recommended path forward.
- Practical use mapping: near-term opportunities, caution areas, candidate agents, and workflows that may benefit from a custom tool.
- AI governance: policies, approved uses, confidentiality rules, human review standards, manager guidance, and escalation paths.
- Implementation and adoption planning: setup, pilots, training, workflow support, measurement, and follow-up.
Depending on scope, the client may receive an assessment memo, platform recommendation, practical use map, policy requirements summary, and implementation plan. See the AI advisory services page for more detail.
Can HIA help us choose an AI platform?
Yes. HIA compares platforms against the organization's work, existing systems, information sensitivity, access needs, administrative controls, user experience, connected tools, and total cost.
The recommendation explains which environment best fits the priority workflows and what setup, migration, or governance work will be required.
Can HIA create an AI policy for our organization?
Yes. HIA creates practical AI policies and employee guidance based on the organization's work, risk profile, approved tools, and review standards.
The policy can cover confidentiality, sensitive information, connected tools and agents, acceptable uses, human review, manager expectations, and escalation paths.
What does AI implementation include?
AI implementation can include platform setup, access and guardrails, workflow design, pilot testing, employee training, and rollout support.
HIA turns priority use cases into repeatable ways of working, then creates the prompts, guides, and support materials employees need to use them consistently. See HIA's AI implementation services.
How do you measure whether AI adoption is working?
Measurement starts with the result the organization expected from a specific use case. For a proposal workflow, that might be time to first draft, revision rounds, or claims caught before submission. For a staff rollout, it might be repeat use, completion of a defined task, employee questions, or work returned for rework.
HIA agrees on the measures during planning and reviews them after people have used the workflow in practice.
Custom tools and agents
Does HIA build custom AI tools and agents?
Yes. HIA builds custom GPTs, Gemini Gems, Claude Projects, shared AI workspaces, agents, Apps Script tools, and structured workflows. The platform and format are chosen based on the work, source material, user access, and level of control required.
Examples include proposal assistants that use approved source material, manager guides that apply company policy, document review tools that check claims and risks, and executive briefing tools that preserve context across meetings. See HIA's custom AI tools and agents.
What kinds of work can a custom build support?
HIA commonly builds support for:
- Business development, sales, and proposals
- Marketing and communications
- People, HR, and management
- Executive and operating support
- Review, risk, and quality control
- Research, intelligence, and decision support
See representative examples on the Custom Built Solutions page.
Can HIA improve a tool, prompt, or workflow we already built?
Yes. HIA reviews the tool's scope, instructions, source handling, testing, user guidance, and output quality.
We trace where the tool drifts, what users misunderstand, and which steps create extra work, then repair, simplify, or rebuild it based on the findings.
Training and seminars
What kinds of AI training does HIA offer?
HIA designs live training for teams, departments, leadership groups, and employee cohorts. Programs can use HIA's core courses or be built around a role, workflow, policy, platform, or business need.
For individual professionals, the public seminar series includes:
Can I register for a seminar on my own?
Yes. HIA public seminars are live, instructor led, and open to individual professionals. Current dates and prices are listed on the seminar page.
Which seminar should I take first?
Start with HIA 101: AI Essentials when you want a clear foundation in how generative AI works, where it fails, and how to review its output.
Choose the next course based on the work you need to improve:
- Prompting I for clearer direction and more usable first drafts.
- Quality Writing for writing that is specific, controlled, and ready for professional review.
- Prompting II for reports, files, transcripts, spreadsheets, and other source material.
- Strategic Thinking for framing decisions, testing assumptions, and planning.
- ChatGPT Power User for settings, memory, projects, instructions, and skills.
The seminar page has the full course list.
Can HIA train our staff?
Yes. HIA delivers live virtual and on-site training for teams, departments, leaders, and employee cohorts. A program can include a focused workshop, a sequence of core courses, custom sessions built around company work, and follow-up application sessions.
Before delivery, we agree on what participants should be able to do differently and build the examples and practice around that standard. See the corporate AI training options.
Delivery and pricing
What formats does HIA offer?
Organizations can choose private workshops, tailored team training, multi-session programs, advisory work, implementation support, ongoing office hours, or custom tools and agents. Individual professionals can attend live public seminars.
Follow-up sessions give teams time to apply the method, bring back real work, and solve problems that become visible during use.
How much does it cost to work with HIA?
Organizational engagements start at $12,500. At that level, a focused advisory engagement can include discovery interviews, review of current tools and selected documents, an assessment of priority workflows and policy needs, and written recommendations such as a platform or migration recommendation, practical use map, policy requirements summary, and implementation plan.
Team training packages may also begin at this level, with scope based on the number of sessions, customization, participants, and follow-up support. Custom tools and agents start at $5,000. Public seminars for individual professionals currently range from $125 to $225.
Are sessions virtual or in person?
Private training and workshops may be virtual or on site, depending on location and scope. Virtual delivery works well for instruction and distributed teams. On-site delivery is often useful for workflow design, leadership discussion, team practice, and shared decisions.
Public seminars are live online.
Do you offer private workshops?
Yes. A private workshop can stand alone or fit within a larger training and implementation plan.
We agree on what participants should be able to do differently, then set the content, length, examples, practice, and follow-up around that outcome.
